Welcome to Home Tone Records. We are a company striving to benefit the musical production efforts of real, working artists. Home Tone Records exists to document and promote the work of this talent, without regard to genre or current musical trends. Home Tone represents a diverse group of songwriters, musicians, producers and engineers. The result is a great musical catalog covering several genres, including rock, country, bluegrass, jazz and hip-hop. Home Tone Records founder Adam Roehlke brings a lifetime of engineering and producion experience, with nearly 25 years of production support for everything from frat parties to stadiums. Adam's credentials include running a regional sound system rental business (Sound Services 1989-94), production/engineer for The Bottle Rockets (1994-95), for Wilco world tours (1995-2000), for The Blue Note (off and on 1992-2002) and The Redwalls European and American tours (2005). Home Tone President Wes Wingate has been a musician/songwriter/producer/promoter for the last decade plus, including his work with: The Doxies, Hilary Scott, John Henry and the Engine and Paradise Vending, as well as his current projects: The Hipnecks and Stingrays. Cualfield and the magic are dumb. They are trying to compete in the genre' of alt country and then ostrisize a ton of potential fans with the lyric, "If God is real he has a Fu_ _ ed up plan" Do they not have any business sense. My CD flew out the window of my jeep and into a creek as I ejected it from my player. What idiots. Nice sound, bluesy tone, and then those words. Offending everyone in the world who believes in God is really dumb and no one who is a true Christian would listen to them again. What I really find facinating is that if they would have had an anti Gay line there would be an uproar but Christians are fair game. What a distorted world we now live in.
